How to Create Automations and Scenes in HomeKit

Apple HomeKit permits you to create automation and scenes for the accessories so that the light gets switched off automatically when you go outside your home. The Home application will help you create automation and scenes easily and permits you to activate them according to the time, location, etc. In this article, you will get to know how you can complete this procedure.
Steps to create scenes in the Home app for iOS
•    Open the Home application for iOS.
•    Press on the Add option.
•    It is located in the upper right-hand side of the display.
•    It resembles a plus symbol.
•    Click on the Add Scene option.
•    You need to provide a name to the scene.
•    Start changing the symbol for the scene by pressing on the Home symbol.
•    It is located on the left-hand side of the scene title.
•    Click on the Add Accessories option.

•    Keep pressing on the Accessories option given in the scene.

•    Click on the Test This Scene option.
•    Press on the Add Accessories option.
•    It will help you to add extra accessories to the scene.
•    Press on the On or Off given near to the Include in Favorites option.
•    It will add or delete the scene from the favorite scenes folder.

•    Open the Home application.
•    Press on the Automation option.
•    Click on the Add Button option.
•    It is located in the upper right-hand side of the display.
•    This option resembles a plus icon.
•    Select when you wish to get the automation.
•    You need to start dialing at a particular time.
•    Choose the Specific Days on which you wish to open the automation.
•    You need to press on a particular day of the week.
•    It is given below the repeat column.
•    Click on the People option to open the automation when a particular person is at home or any other place.
•    Click on the Next option.
•    Select which Scenes and Accessories you wish to control with the automation.
•    Click on the Next option.
•    Keep pressing on the Accessories option.
•    It will help you to change the settings tab.
•    Click on the Done option.
